AskOwly Privacy Policy
This page explains what AskOwly collects, how screening and account data are used, when data may be shared, and how users can request access or deletion review.
Last reviewed: May 21, 2026
AskOwly collects only the information needed to operate account access, save screening results, support follow-up workflows, and coordinate user-requested next steps.
Information We Collect
Depending on how someone uses the service, AskOwly may collect account identifiers, contact details, screening answers, qualification facts, follow-up responses, conversations, privacy requests, audit logs, and operational support records.
How We Use Information
AskOwly uses submitted information to authenticate users, save screening sessions, determine possible claim routes, manage dashboard actions, review privacy requests, and coordinate consented professional handoffs.
Optional provider-backed checks are used only when the user has provided the matching consent for that data use.
When Information Is Shared
AskOwly does not sell user contact information as a standalone data product. Screening details may be shared with internal operators, service providers supporting the platform, and vetted professionals only where that access is needed for service operations or where the user has specifically consented to a referral or handoff.
Communications
Contact details may be used for account, security, screening, privacy-request, and consented follow-up messages. AskOwly does not describe these communications as required for purchasing anything, because the platform does not sell a consumer product to end users.
Privacy Requests
Authenticated users can submit export or deletion-review requests from the AskOwly dashboard. Requests are reviewed before action is taken so identity, legal, fraud-prevention, and retention obligations can be checked first.
Users who want to submit a public CCPA-style request without signing in can use the Do Not Sell or Share request page.
Security And Retention
AskOwly uses server-side authentication, role-restricted internal surfaces, consent-gated partner handoffs, and audit logging around sensitive workflows.
AskOwly keeps account, screening, CRM, and handoff records while a user request, lead review, partner handoff, audit requirement, fraud-prevention need, dispute, or contractual reporting window is still active. Leads that are no longer actionable are archived through internal status controls rather than automatically hard-deleted.
Export, deletion-review, and do-not-sell requests are reviewed manually before action is taken. AskOwly may retain records that are reasonably necessary for legal compliance, audit history, fraud prevention, payment or package history, active disputes, or other permitted internal business purposes.
